When you’re at Tony Jaros, why drink anything but their famous Greenie. Stop in any night and you’ll see almost everyone at the bar is drinking one. Just remember that The Greenie gives you a green weenie. A true NE dive bar that hasn’t changed much in many many years.
Tony Jaros is generally busy, with everyone drinking their signature drink. Some claim they have food though no one ever seems to have known anyone that’s eaten there or seen someone with food when they’re there.
Tony went to school at nearby Edison High School and played for the Chicago Stags and Minneapolis Lakers in the ’40s and ’50s. His final NBA pension check is framed at the bar. Be sure to check out the pictures while you’re there.

There’s a parking lot behind Tony Jaros that generally has space available, even on busy nights.

- Friday – Saturday: 9am – 2am
