Step across the street from Mayslack’s and enjoy beers at what was once rated the best dive bar in Minneapolis. It may not be anymore, but it’s still a good spot to drown you feelings in alcohol.
Like many dives, it’s dark, kinda depressing, and has plenty of cheap drinks. With happy hour weekdays from open until 6pm, you can get pints for just $1.75 and tallboys for $2.50. Now sure why you’d want a tallboy when a pint has the same amount of beer for 75¢ less but some people like their cans or have a hipster image to keep up.
The kitchen is open until close every night and they serve up plenty passable bar food along with Heggies Pizza.

Parking
No lot at Knight Cap but a good amount of street parking in the neighborhood. Watch for parking restrictions to keep from getting ticketed or towed.
